In the second set the Panthers came out fast and capitalized on Hingham errors to earn the win in the second set. In the third set the Panthers couldn't get out of their own way and got lost in their own heads making several unforced errors in both defense and serve receive. Hingham ran away with the victory in the third set forcing Whitman-Hanson into a must win 4th set. The 4th set started with the Panthers falling behind quickly due to strong serving from Hingham but the Panthers were able to pull their way back into the set finally earning the set win with solid play from setter Alyssa Gacicia. In the fifth and deciding set the Panthers were again forced out of their game by the Hingham attack. In the end the Panthers couldn't put together a run to help them pull even with Hingham giving Hingham the win.
